So in my ramblings across the Interwebs I came across some writings that I am sure will be of interest to those that are inclined to read about this kind of thing, the link is here. It is a well written article, but I am gonna warn you; it may take more than a grade 9 grasp of the English language to get through it...

Going The Gym

So I went to the gym last night... Not very Holdeman I know! But there are a few thoughts I would like to share with my readers on this lovely Sunday afternoon...
This is me lol

And this is what i was looking at
And so put in my headphones,(I know,I know) and got down to the business of pumping iron... And while I will be the first to admit I have a lot of crap on my ipod, Brittany, Snoop Dog, etc, I was a little surprised when this came on

And I was like wow ! This is kinda weird... If I'm listening to this music I should be sitting in a church, you know, some lovely Sunday morning service or perhaps some revival message where the evangelist is trying to amp up the drama for his invitation message, doing his best to get the mood right...I am sure Christians of every stripe, not to mention backsliders, iconoclasts, and herictics who have had to to sit under the Spell Of The Gospel can relate... Anyways feel free to message me any memories that you may have on this song

This vs That

As one ponders the meaning of life, it is impossible not to wonder where one fits in the grand scheme of things.
Surely the author is just another example of teenage angst, and will surely "work" his way through this session of adolescence, and will surely find his place, "In Gods Time"

This is the Lonetree Church of God in Christ, Mennonite, located near Galva Kansas. With a seating capacity of over 700 it is the largest of the Holdeman Church buildings. I plan on starting a collection of these type of "graven images" so feel free to e-mail me anything you think i might find interesting...
